Fundraising for Veteran's Homes Homes in MNATTENTION USCG LICENSED CHARTER FISHING CAPTAINS Capt. James C Latvala of Sport Trolling, Inc-LAKE SUPERIOR CHARTER FISHING-PO Box 81, Twin Harbors, MN http://www.fishduluth.com/rainbowsend/ asserts that he has been operating an annual fundraiser for the last 16 years to support local Veteran homes by organizing 10 or more local charter fishing boats to take disabled veterans fishing as he claims the homes do not receive any state recreational assistance. He is seeking to promote this to other Charter Captains nationwide to work with him on this initiative. James says that some of this money would be used to defray the cost of taking disabled vets fishing and money donated to the homes enhances the quality of their lives by providing funding for other recreation projects as well. In this regard Jim asks that USCG licensed charter captains and related associations, and others who are interested in learning more about this initiative should contact Jim at jlatvala@frontiernet.net or call him at 218-830-1050.
