Please note that when the Journal News story makes reference to the cost of the fishing trips, it refers to the cost to Andy Powers as owner of the Anticipation for fuel and bait. There is no cost to the veterans who accept the invitation to go fishing. They need only bring a smile, their lunch and their favorite fishing pole, two of which they will take when they leave-along with any fish they catch.
